Ayios Antonios Chapel

Ayios Antonios is a privately owned family chapel in Muldersdrift, and is affiliated to St. Andrew’s Church in Krugersdorp on the West Rand.

Ayios Antonios was built as a gift gratitude to God by the owner, the late Mr. Antonis Antoniades, for all the blessings he and his family have received over time. The chapel is situated next to the N14 highway between Krugersdorp and Pretoria, and seats a maximum of 20 people.

The chapel has been consecrated and celebrates the Feast Day of Ayios Antonios every year on 17th January. The walls are covered with paintings from iconographer Maria Manetta and the chapel is fully functional. All collections are considered income of Saint Andrew’s in Krugersdorp.
